Production process

Eggbrane® is a totally natural product. The raw materials are collected from our own egg processing facilities and can be from both conventional and/or free-range hens. The separation of the membranes from the shells is done mechanically through water jets only, and no additives are used.
      
Subsequently the pure eggshell membranes can be processed into two distinct ingredients. The native form is generated without using any heat treatment in order to preserve the original characteristics and quality of the different types of proteins. The hydrolysed form is created through enzymatic hydrolysis, resulting in a highly soluble ingredient.
